Arena Rock
Making jokes at your opponent’s expense right before you are supposed to battle them in front of thousands in an arena… Probably not the best move in the world, but all’s fair in remote-controlled love and war, right? The wraps on their hands were directly inspired by the terrible Jean Claude Van Damme movie, Kickboxer. Putting broken glass on them would have been a bit much, but I liked having this little internal tribute to Tong Po.
Will Tripp arrive in time to save Coco from the battle? Stay tuned!

this should be intersting
for a society that appears to be mostly men I’m surprise that the competitor uniforms for those aren’t a bit more revealing
I’m guessing the girls pick their own…
I know that phrases in one language commonly mean something else entirely in another. “Knock you up” in England means call you, “I’m stuffed” means I’m pregnant. That one embarrassed a friend of mine traveling over there. A young foreign exchange student over from Sweden asked her classmate for an eraser by saying “Pardon me, do you have a rubber?” You can guess what she got.
The joke here is obvious, what I don’t get is how Coco reacted to it. She’s under remote control or is this some weakness in the remote control? Hmmm? Perhaps she will be able to break it with some strong emotion or humor? Well there are weirder things in Tripp’s life.
The real Coco would be scared to death right now, but this Coco under the influence of the chip is more primal, confident, and mean. She’s not a total zombie but when the King gives a command she can’t really disobey.
Maybe if she were to handle the kings meat more often, then he wouldn’t have needed to brainwash some chick to beat her. Nah, he’d just do it anyway.
Disclaimer: The above statement is not an opinion shared by the guy that written it. He also does not think women as pieces of meat… for that would imply that he is a cannibal or into guys, which he is neither. Nothing wrong with being gay…
Ewwww… still trying to ‘unsee’ this.
Love the alt text!
Also, how do you put an avatar here? I’m just curious because I don’t see an option for that anywhere..
Doc and Mongoose- how did you guys do it? I obviously have the page set to display them…
http://en.gravatar.com/ follow that link
Mongoose beat me to it. Just get a Gravitar account and attach an Avatar to your email address. That Avatar will show up automatically on any page that support it. It’s free.
Thanks to both of you!
