The Narva and Amazon seem to have some sort of tenuous cease-fire, which precludes them from smiting the Narvans in battle. Tripp is like a stealth bomb for them, if he succeeds he screws over the Narva considerably. If not, he’ll die and they won’t have to worry about him. A win-win for them, really. And they even fixed up STATS and gave him some swanky upgrades. I have a feeling we’ll see the Amazons again somewhere down the road.
