Homecoming
Woohoo! Strip #100! That’s a drop in the bucket to some people but not to me. My original goal starting out was to get out 52 strips in 2011, one per week. In the beginning that seemed quite daunting. I am constantly looking for ways to streamline the workflow and it has worked well so far, enough that 2 strips a week doesn’t feel too difficult to maintain. One thing that would really help is to start keeping a library of backgrounds of places we will see regularly, like the office or Tripp’s apartment. That would save a ton of work. A big thank you to everyone who takes a little bit of their time to read the strip. It’s been a fun first 100 and I have big things planned for the next 100. I’ve learned a lot and look forward to more improvement.
So in this strip Tripp finally makes it home after a whirlwind adventure on Mazon and Narva. I’d need a beer too, after that. I bet Luke’s been on that couch the entire time, gaming away. I really dig the swirls in the background on this one, they worked well on that pale green color of the walls. I also gave Tripp a different tie because I was feeling all crazy.

Congratulations on #100! They keep getting better. I look forward to many more as they brighten my rather mundane work day.
Thanks, Carl! I’ll keep ‘em coming.
What a buddy. LOL
Congratulations on #100
Thanks, Doc!
Mostly because of the mac and cheese, though, eh?
Congratulations on #100!
Definitely from the mac and cheese.
Thanks for the congrats!
And does this mean Tripp gets a new tie every 100 strips? Or maybe a new shirt?
In honor of strip 100, I’ll actually have Tripp start changing clothes!
Here’s to the next 100!
Thanks! And thanks for reading!
He should go vegan to impress coco. No more cheese.
I don’t think Tripp has that kind of willpower.
Just found this today, great comic and awesome premise.
