Insult To Injury
This strip is a bit violent but necessary. We needed to see that the King means business and that he is completely loony tunes crazy. Let’s recap what this psycho has done so far:
His population is almost exclusively male and therefore dying out unless they can reproduce. So, the King starts looking for a close genetic match to the Narva and comes across humans.
Out of the genetic potentials, he chooses Coco for obvious reasons.
He has someone to pose as her dead boyfriend John to infiltrate and kidnap her.
He plans to clone her so the Narva can procreate.
He implants a compliance chip with advance combat programming in her head so he could:
a) Have complete control over her remotely
b) Maneuver her into challenging Queen Vala for the right to the Queenship
c) Use the advanced combat protocol skills to kill Vala in the arena, finally ridding him of his horrible conniving wife and providing himself with a hot, controllable Queen.
That is one mean S.O.B.
Oh, yeah, and Happy Thanksgiving!!!

This is completely unrelated to today’s strip, but if Poe is a ghost and not a hallucination, how can he see Tripp’s hallucinations?
Also, Coco looks awesome!
Good question and one I definitely plan on answering. There is a reason for it.
Thanks (about Coco).
Bill
For some reason the King suddenly reminds me of Ming the Merciless from the old Flash Gordon series. I’m kind of getting the idea that Coco is more fitting the role of Flash than Tripp will be though.
Absolutely! He’s like a crazy, senile Ming who looks a little more harmless.
