Whatever happened to the plot point of Tripp being telekinetic?
Don’t worry, it’s still there and important. In fact, it’s about to come up again VERY soon.
“So, where did we leave that king’s head and body…?” Tripp, you have to make sure the evidence has been eliminated.
Hopefully it’s in another dimension with the Narva.
So I went back and re read the whole story again. I forgot how good the older story line was. I am very impressed on how the art work looks compared to the strips in the beginning.
I do have a couple of questions.
What is Tripps last name?
And are we ever going to see his parents?
Thanks, Dexter! I’m always working hard to improve the strip, whether it’s the writing or the art. I’m working on getting a book together for Tripp and it’s sooo hard not to go back and rework the early strips.
As for your questions…
We definitely find out Tripp’s last name in a future strip so I’ll hold off saying it for now but I promise, you will know it VERY soon.
We will definitely see at least his mom in a future strip and man, she’s a piece of work.

If there’s one guy who should know this by now…
Reminds me of a recent freefall where someone describes a disaster as a 7 out of 10, then it gets worse and someone asks “so it’s a 10 now?” and the first guy responds, “no 8.5, nothing is ever a 10 because it can always get worse”. Heh.

Bet they are there to investigate how it was that Proxy was her own great great great great grandmother…. Or maybe how Saving Tripp and Earth cased some horrible dystopian future where the offspring of Tripp and Proxy rule with an iron fist through their psychic and martial prowess. Or maybe they are just there to arrest Coco for beheading the leader of a certain global government.
Coco didn’t do that… The Amazon women did.
If I had to guess it’s none of those. All of those would sort of be building on already existing complications. To add new complications sort of requires adding a new plot element. Like finding out that Proxy is an escapee from a mental institution and time traveling without permission.
Or that she’s really a man!
Its ok. He was drugged. All weird sex acts are forgiven when drugged….at least thats what I keep telling myself…

It’s technically not a gun. It’s a surface to everywhere else anti-matter disentegrater. As of yet they have no legislation on such things.

I am a FIRM believer in this. Mr. Murphy is extremely well known to me. The two of us have spent much time “arm wrestling” with my fate at far too many moments. I would be classified as a defensive pessimist by most psych doctors. I am always expecting and planning for the worst. So the moment anyone around me utters similar words or phrases, I immediately start double and triple checking what I am doing and watch what they are doing in hopes that I can avoid as much of the fallout as possible. DUCK AND COVER! INCOMING!
I think Mr. Murphy has carved his name into Tripps ass.
They are going to start calling it Tripp’s Law soon.
Anything that can go wrong will go wrong, for Tripp.
At least he’s not bringing it ALL on himself.
Tripp should wear a hard hat if he’s going to go around saying stuff like that.

If Delia is to be believed (that’s a big “if”) then this sort of thing is going to continue to happen to Tripp whether or not he tempts fate or Murphy or whatever, as a result of Poe’s presence having caused some sort of imbalance in the universe. On the other hand, if she really believes that, then one would think it wouldn’t have been necessary for her to help “fate” along with her potion.
Makes you wonder how much of it is her using it to justify being such a prick.
