KO? OK!

Using your face as a punching bag was probably not the diversion Tripp had in mind but he took one for the team. A really hard one, right in the face. I wonder if this will take a little off the shine of Tripp’s ‘Pie in the sky’ idea of Coco. You travel across light years to save this girl and you’re rewarded with… a nose-busting right hook? Frankly, that sucks, but it’s better than actually dying from repeated blows to the face from your dream girl.

I realize this strip is a bit of a weird one… I broke with the linear story a bit and went out of order as sort of an experiment with my inner Tarantino. Rest assured, this gets fleshed out more. Since Tripp was knocked out and disoriented I went for making the strip that way too.

OK, assuming they can remove the control chip Coco is going to be Very Grateful but Tripp is going to be turned off because his prospective girlfriend wiped the floor with him? The universe really does have it in for Tripp (or at least the writer ^_~).

Love the Man from Kentucky! Hope he becomes a regular but since Tripp has trouble sleeping I’m guessing irregular at best. That or a lot more KO’s in the future.

I know I’d be a bit hesitant if I had to worry about getting my face caved in by Coco The Barbarian. The Kentucky Gentleman will make more appearances but they will likely be sporadic.

So, how exactly can The Kentucky Gentleman know all that if Tripp was unconscious?
Also, I’ve just realized that my last 5 or so comments were all questions..I bet it’s getting really annoying. Sorry, but I just can’t help it, I gots to know!

I don’t mind the questions one bit!

His senses are still taking in information even though he’s out of it. Kind of like when you’re dreaming and noises from the outside world influence your dream.

Ps. The Kentucky Gentleman is NOT a dream.
