I just noticed is Sams tattoo the skyrim dragon logo?
It sort of has a double meaning… It’s closer in design to the Iron Fist symbol but since she’s a gamer it doubles as an Elder Scrolls nod.
Thank the creator he didn’t say ‘fist’.

Sam switched hands to make sure she didn’t bruise.
Presumably he doesn’t dodge them because he feels like crap & recognizes that he deserves them.
I think there’s truth in that.
Sam is my favorite. For no other reason than her psychosis and spontaneous backhands.
She’s probably the most level-headed in the whole comic. In her own way.

Does Sam really look like that or is it just the “acid haze”? It makes you wonder what else the haze is effecting.
Perhaps we’ll find out in a future strip.
