I’m not sure how Sam would go about breaking Poe in half but I bet she could do it. Tripp might be in the supply room having the tryst of a lifetime but when he gets out there’s going to be a super-pissed off blonde waiting for him. Hopefully she doesn’t hulk out and rip his arms off like Chewbacca.

Oh bugger fuck. That’s the only statement I can make that sums up the amount of fuck that is happening at this moment.
Haha, what does that even mean? I like it though, I might have to start using it. Or better yet, I’ll have a character use it.
I’m not sure if he knew what it meant when he used it, but it refers to “rear door” entry. Not exactly what I’d consider a family friendly term.

When one considers the amount of screaming going on one may think it apt. And yeah, I thought ‘bugger’ meant bastard. And in our gloriously weird language the statement meant ‘fucking bastard’

If this doesn’t end with Coco and Tripp still together with all forgiven, and Delia being punched in the face, I’m going to have a fit.
I think spinester handled this page well for the way he managed to have Poe get some humor out of the situation. And, if I might add, this was done in a way that does not seem very inappropriate or a stretch. This definitely seemed to be in-character for Poe and it helped lessen the negative impact of this otherwise downer page. So, kudos to you!
I mean, is it wrong for me to crack a smile at “Cuckoo for Coco Puffs”?
Even so, I can’t help but be a bit disappointed. BUT! We all saw this coming a MILE away. So at least it’s not some huge shock to readers. And, really, the only one to blame here is Delia (and perhaps Pinky Poe).
I really feel bad for Coco. And when Delia’s spell wears off, Tripp and Proxy are going to feel like dirt. In the meanwhile, however, it sounds like Tripp and Proxy are having the time of their life.
In charge of their senses, no way would Tripp or Proxy do this to Coco. That said, how well was Tripp and Coco’s relationship defined? As I recall, didn’t they go on exactly ONE date?
Thanks, xpacetrue! I was really trying to strike a delicate balance between this page being sad but somehow still humorous. It’s a tough task for a story strip built around character gags to handle sadder moments. Luckily, I have Poe for some levity.
That’s also why this strip is double-sized, I felt like it merited it.

All may not be lost, maybe Tripp, Proxy and Coco can become fundamentalist Mormons. Problem solved!

If memory serves me, they did only go on one official date but they Tripp DID travel thru time and space and risk the extinction of the entire human race to save her and dont forget COMI-CON! lol.
They would have gone on more but they’ve been a bit busy.

Poor Tripp needs to drop into a short coma after the potion wears off or he might run or toss him self out the window realizing what he did to Coco. Yes boys and girls that are down sides to having Telekinesis when self loathing kicks in. Knowing some of the past Coco has had Tripp is going to feel very bad when he learns what has happened. However in the short of it, he got some yea.
Yeah, it’s a fair bet he’ll feel pretty awful about it.
Oh yeah… someone’s about to die.
